The PTSO supports many programs that enhance the education of your child. We typically raise around $90,000 each year, the largest portion of which is used for the contracted services budget. This includes 76 hours of weekly classroom assistants, the arts integration specialist, two reading assistants, the parent involvement coordinator, and adding five hours extra of open library per week. This directly affects your child’s education.

The PTSO also supports community events throughout the year, including socials and parent education programs. It pays for field trip scholarships, maintains classroom supplies, augments teachers’ lesson plans, arranges special assemblies and performances, sustains the safe arrival hotline, facilitates school-to-home communications, and purchases playground equipment.

Our specific fundraising goal for the 2014-2015 school year is $89,000.
