The PTSO supports many programs that enhance the education of your child and build community at the school. What exactly, does the PTSO fund?

• It provides support to our hallmark Art Integration program, including financial assistance for supplies and professional learning
• It funds field trip scholarships for those in need, ensuring that no student is ever excluded from an activity for economic reasons.
• It augments grade level activities.
• It arranges and pays for special cultural assemblies and performances via the Cultural and Performing Arts Committee (CPAC).
• It facilitates school-to-home communications.
• It helps to purchase playground equipment.
• It partially funds the 6th Grade Celebration.
• It funds the McT Scholarship, which awards $500 each year to a McT-alumnus graduating ABRHS senior.
• It pays for administrative expenses and liability insurance as required.
• Beyond this, the PTSO also sponsors and organizes a number of social and community-building events such as the Fall Social, the Book Fair, World Heritage Day, Family Field Day, classroom potlucks, Game Night and much more!

Along with the Calendar, PTSO website, Facebook and The Bulletin (our school’s monthly newsletter) is sent home in backpacks with the youngest child in the household on the first Friday of the month.
